Wilmer Hall is pleased to announce that Janiece McLean will join the Wilmer Hall staff as the Social Worker for the 154-year-old institution, according to Executive Director Pratt Paterson. Janiece has been employed with the Mobile County School System for 16 years and has been a counselor for the last 11. She is experienced in working with young people in individual, small group, and class settings to develop individual plans to ensure success with education, post-education, and career plans. Janiece has an undergraduate degree in Education (Cum Laude) from the University of South Alabama as well as a Masters degree in Counseling (Magna Cum Laude) - also from South Alabama.

Janiece's responsibilities with Wilmer Hall's Transitional Living and Transitional Family programs will include recruitment, skill assessments, individual plans, coordinating health care, life skills training and development, and educational/vocational planning and training coordination.
