Sally Greene has announced her retirement as Executive Director of Wilmer Hall after 10 years in that role. Prior to that, Greene served Wilmer Hall as Director of Development.

Pratt Paterson, Wilmer Hallโ€™s Director of Development and Community Relations, has been named Executive Director, according to Wilmer Hall board president Jim Jeffries. Paterson served as Director of Advancement at St. Maryโ€™s Sewanee before coming to Wilmer Hall. He will assume his new role on June 1 and Sally Greene will remain on staff as a development consultant until early 2018. Plans for a celebration of her ministry will be announced at a later date.

"Sally Greene has laid down her life for those who live at the edges of our society, first working for the elderly at Murray House, and then striving for the children of Wilmer Hall. On behalf of The Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast and the three Bishops who have had the privilege to serve with Sally, congratulations on your retirement. Thank you for your untiring determination, your limitless enthusiasm, and your unfaltering hope to further Godโ€™s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Well done, good and faithful servant," adds the Right Rev. Russell Kendrick, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast.
