Do the children participate in community activities?
Yes, we want the children to have a normal life. They shop, go to athletic and cultural events and do things with their peers – just like any kid.

What is the process for a child to come to Wilmer Hall?
Each program has a different set of criteria. If you know of a child in need, contact us and we will discuss that child’s situation.

What do you need for the children?
We depend on your financial and in-kind support to continue our ministry to children.

Can I be a volunteer or a mentor?
Yes! Contact the Development and Communications Dept. for opportunities.

What are the educational opportunities?
On campus, the Center for Learning Differences serves children in kindergarten through 5th grade and The Murray School serves children in 6th through 12th grades. Some children attend school off campus and, in the Transitional Living Program, young people attend college or vocational training.
